In June, we embarked on a life-changing journey across the breathtaking yet challenging terrains of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, and the legendary Siachen Glacier, capturing powerful stories of Indian soldiers stationed in these high-altitude frontiers. This expedition wasn’t just about photography—it was about documenting the unwavering spirit of the armed forces, the beauty of military life in remote outposts, and the deep-rooted bond between the Indian Army and local communities.
From vibrant tourism hotspots in Kashmir to the stark, icy silence of Siachen, my lens followed soldiers through extreme weather, daily duties, and moments of warmth that showcased the human side of military service. This journey highlights not only India’s defence readiness but also how the Army plays a pivotal role in fostering peace, development, and goodwill in the region—making it a must-visit for enthusiasts of military documentation, travel, and national pride.
